For Project Engineer (CS/IT):

Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Technology (B.E. or B.Tech.) in Computer Science/Information Technology from recognized University

For Project Engineer (Safety):

B.E. or B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering with minimum 55% marks

Degree/PG Diploma in Industrial/Electrical Safety recognized by State/Central Govt as per industrial safety rules

For Project Engineer (Electrical-HVAC):

B.E. or B.Tech. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with diploma in HVAC or relevant experience

Master’s degree in Science in Atmospheric Sciences/Space Science/Ocean Science/Meteorology/Climate Science/Geophysics (Meteorology)/Physics/Mathematics (specialized in computational applied mathematics) or equivalent with minimum 55% marks

Alternatively, Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Technology with specialization in above subjects

For Project Scientific Assistant (Electronics):

Diploma or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Electronics/EXTC from recognized institution with minimum 55% marks

For Project Scientific Assistant (Medical Electronics):

Diploma in Biomedical Engineering/Medical Electronics from recognized institution with minimum 55% marks

For Project Scientific Assistant (Physics):

B.Sc. (Physics) from recognized university with minimum 55% marks

For Project Scientific Assistant (Electrical):

Diploma in Electrical Engineering from recognized institution with minimum 55% marks

Valid “Government Electrician Supervisor License” required

For Project Technical Assistant (Electroplater):

For Project Technical Assistant (Turner):

ITI (Turner) from govt. affiliated board and completed NCTVT with minimum 55% marks

For Project Technical Assistant (Machinist):

ITI (Machinist) from govt. affiliated board and completed NCTVT with minimum 55% marks

Essential: Only candidates possessing prescribed degree/certificate with minimum 55% marks or equivalent CGPA awarded on or before closing date of application shall be eligible

Desirable: For Project Engineer positions, candidates who appeared in final examinations between April-July for concurrent academic year and awaiting results may apply subject to production of pass certificate at joining with 55% marks in all declared semesters

Salary/Stipend :

Project Engineer / Project Associate: Rs. 34,000 per month (Consolidated Pay)

Project Scientific Assistant (A): Rs. 23,500 per month (Consolidated Pay)

Project Technical Assistant (A): Rs. 21,000 per month (Consolidated Pay)

Project Technical Assistant (B): Rs. 23,500 per month (Consolidated Pay)

All positions are on consolidated pay basis

No additional allowances or increments beyond prescribed consolidated remuneration

Experience beyond prescribed period shall not be considered for grant of additional increments

For Project Engineer / Project Associate:

Upper Age Limit: 28 years

For Project Scientific Assistant (A):

For Project Technical Assistant (A):

For Project Technical Assistant (B):

Selection Process :

Candidates will be selected through a multi-stage process

Stage 1 – Screening Test: Written Test/Interview/Skill Test (Online/Offline) will be conducted as per requirement for respective posts

Stage 2 – Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will undergo document verification

Stage 3 – Personal Interview: Candidates shortlisted through screening test shall appear for personal interview

Final selection based on performance in interview conducted at venue mentioned in admit card

Selection purely on merit – mere possession of qualifications does not entitle candidates to be called for test/interview

Panel of recommended candidates ordinarily valid for one year from date of interview/skill test or as decided by competent authority

SAMEER is a premier RF & Microwave R&D Laboratory under Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India

It has 5 Centres across the country

Positions are at Mumbai/Navi-Mumbai location

Selected candidates may be posted at any project sites in the country as per requirement

These are contractual appointments for TWO YEARS or duration of project, whichever is less

Appointments shall not confer any right for regularization, absorption or continuation of service in SAMEER

Selected candidates shall have no claim or right for continuity of service or automatic extension of contractual term

No TA/DA admissible for appearing in screening test and/or interview

SAMEER reserves right to accept/reject any candidature at any stage without assigning reason

SAMEER reserves right to cancel, restrict, enlarge, modify or alter recruitment process without further notice
