Recruitment in Child Development Project Bufliaz
Application forms on prescribed format are invited from the eligible female candidates of the below mentioned wards of the Panchayats for engagement as Sanginis (Anganwadi Workers) and Sahayikas (Anganwadi Helpers) in Anganwadi Centres of Poshan (ICDS) Project Bufliaz, purely on honorarium basis. Sanginis will be paid βΉ5100 per month and Sahayikas βΉ2550 per month, in pursuance to Government Order No. 222-JK (SWD) of 2022 dated 30-11-2022, Order No. 103-JK (SWD) of 2023 dated 28-04-2023 and Order No. SWD-ICDS/43/2022 dated 14-08-2023.
As per norms, the unit of selection of Sanginis and Sahayikas shall be the electoral ward of the concerned Panchayat.

Criteria for Selection of Sanginis (Anganwadi Workers)
Women candidates in the age group of 18β37 years as on 01-01-2026 shall be considered.
The candidate must be a domicile of UT of J&K.
The candidate must be a resident of the electoral ward where the Anganwadi Centre is located. The voter list of the ward shall be treated as proof of residence. If the candidateβs name appears in the voter list along with her parents, she must provide a certificate of being unmarried issued by the concerned Tehsildar. In case of dispute regarding residence, a residence proof certified by the concerned SDM/ACR shall be considered.
Minimum qualification for Sanginis shall be 10+2 and maximum qualification shall be graduation. If no 10+2 candidate is available in the ward, a 10+2 candidate from the adjoining ward may be considered with prior approval of the Mission Director, Mission POSHAN.
If no suitable candidate is available from the adjoining ward, a candidate from the nearest ward within the Panchayat may be considered subject to approval of the Mission Director, Mission POSHAN.
Weightage shall be given on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2 and selection shall be done purely on merit.
If an eligible candidate is available within the family of retiring AWWs/AWHs, she shall get additional two percent points.
In case of tie in merit, the older candidate will be preferred.
Candidates with qualification higher than graduation shall not be considered.
Criteria for Selection of Sahayikas (Anganwadi Helpers)
Married women in the age group of 18β37 years as on 01-01-2026 shall be considered. If no married candidate is available, an unmarried candidate may be considered.
The candidate must be a domicile of UT of J&K.
Selection shall be restricted to the electoral ward where the Anganwadi Centre is located.
Minimum qualification for Sahayikas shall be matriculation (10th).
Weightage shall be given on the basis of marks obtained in 10th class and selection shall be purely on merit. However, in rare cases, if the selection committee finds a widow-headed household with no income source or a completely destitute lady, preference may be given if other things are equal.
If no matriculate candidate is available in the ward, candidates having qualification not less than 8th standard may be considered.

HOW TO APPLY
The application forms, complete in all respects as per the Performa given in Annexure βAβ of this notice along with all the requisite documents, should be submitted in the Office of the Child Development Project Officer, Bufliaz (Near Zero Point Mughal Road Bridge, Bufliaz Poonch) by personal delivery during working hours against proper receipt.
Incomplete forms shall be rejected without any clarification or notice and candidates shall have no right to claim candidature.
Date of commencement of submission of application forms: 12-01-2026
Last date for submission of application forms: 31-01-2026
No application form shall be accepted after 31-01-2026.
DOCUMENT VERIFICATION
Shortlisted meritorious candidates shall be required to appear before the Document Verification Committee along with all original documents whose copies have been attached with the application form within one week after the last date of receipt of applications.
