J&K: Govt Reconstitutes Establishment-cum-Selection Committee
The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has reconstituted the Establishment-cum-Selection Committee vide Government Order No. 95-JK(GAD) of 2026, dated January 20, 2026.

The order, issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), has been made in partial modification of Government Order No. 8B-JK(GAD) of 2025 dated January 17, 2025.
As per the reconstitution, Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo, IAS, will serve as the Chairman of the committee. The members include Shaleen Kabra, IAS, Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Jal Shakti Department; Ashish Chandra Verma, IAS, Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Tourism Department; Santosh D Vaidya, IAS, Principal Secretary, Finance Department; M Raju, IAS, Commissioner/Secretary, General Administration Department; and Achal Sethi, Secretary, Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs.

The Administrative Secretary of the department concerned will be co-opted as a special invitee whenever required.
According to the order, the terms of reference of the Establishment-cum-Selection Committee and the procedure for making selections to posts under its purview will remain unchanged and will continue to be governed by Government Order No. 14BB-GAD of 2011 dated December 26, 2011.
