Light snowfall was reported this morning across parts of Jammu and Kashmir as a weak Western Disturbance affected the region.
Qazigund and Bandipora received light accumulations of around 2 inches, while Anantnag recorded nearly 1 inch of snowfall.

Srinagar and Ganderbal witnessed very light snow with accumulations ranging between 1–2 cm. Light snowfall was also observed in Kulgam and Shopian districts.
For the next 24 hours, weather conditions across Jammu and Kashmir are likely to stay largely dry, though very light snowfall cannot be ruled out at a few isolated places.

A fresh Western Disturbance is expected to enter the region by tomorrow evening, bringing another spell of rain and snowfall across Jammu and Kashmir.
