Engagement of retired Engineers on contractual/consolidated basis for various positions under Jal Jeevan Mission in UT of J&K.
The Jal Shakti Department, J&K, through Mission Directorate Jal Jeevan Mission, intends to engage experienced Engineers who have retired from Government service at the levels indicated in the eligibility criteria, on a contractual/consolidated remuneration basis, as per details given below.

Eligibility Criteria :
Graduate in Civil Engineering and must have retired as Superintending Engineer (Civil/Mechanical) or above from a Central/State/UT Government/Semi-Government Department/PSU, with a minimum experience of 05 years in the drinking water supply sector.

Eligibility Criteria :
Graduate in Civil Engineering and must have retired as Executive Engineer or above from a Central/State/UT Government/Semi-Government Department/PSU, with a minimum experience of 05 years in the drinking water supply sector.

Applications in the prescribed format given in Annexure-II, complete in all respects, along with the required documents, must be forwarded to the email ID [email protected] with the subject line:
“Application for ______ (name of position) on contractual/consolidated basis”.
The following documents must be mandatorily submitted along with the application form:
i) Retirement Notification
ii) PPO Copy
iii) LPC Copy
iv) Posting Details
Last date for receipt of application : 30-01-2026
Interested and eligible retired Government servants who fulfill the above-mentioned criteria may apply. The engagement shall be subject to the terms and conditions enclosed in Annexure-I.
The number of posts may increase or decrease as per the requirement of the Department.
