GMC Rajouri Issues Written Exam Notification
It is hereby notified for information of all the concerned candidates who have applied for engagement against tenure post of Junior Resident, in response to this office advertisement Notice No GMCR/2025-26/5660-5666 dated 21-01-2026 that their written examination will be held on 03-02-2026 at 11:00 AM in Government Medical College & Associated Hospital, Mehra Campus Rajouri.

On the actual day of the examination, i.e. 03-02-2026, the candidates shall report at the examination centre one hour before commencement of the examination for verification of their identity along with anyone of the following documents as proof of their identity:
a. Photo Identity card issued by the competent authority.
b. Voter ID Card.
c. Pan card/Adhaar card.

The selection shall be made purely on the basis of merit obtained by the candidates in the written examination. However, in case of tie in merit obtained in the written test between two or more candidates, the following procedure shall be adopted to break the tie:
1. In case of tie between two or more MBBS candidates, the candidate having secured higher percentage of aggregate marks in MBBS will be given preference.
2. In case the tie remains unresolved after following the above procedure, the candidate older in age will be given preference
No separate call letters shall be issued in this regard.
Note :
Candidates are directed to bring only a blue/black ball pen on the day of examination.
No other items are allowed inside the examination hall.
Mobile phones, Electronic Gadgets, Smart watches are not allowed in the examination center
