Advisory regarding entry/parking of vehicles during 5th Assembly Session-2026
In view of the upcoming Session of J&K Legislative Assembly of the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, and with a view to regulate the entry/parking of vehicles in and around the premises of Civil Secretariat, the following guidelines are issued for strict adherence by all the concerned:
No private vehicle(s) of employees including police personnel (Security) shall be allowed inside the Secretariat Premises at Civil Secretariat, Jammu.

Parking space available in the new (under construction) Assembly Complex shall be utilized for parking of private vehicles of employees of Civil Secretariat on first come first serve basis. No other vehicle(s) like escort, media etc. shall be parked in the above designated areas earmarked for Civil Secretariat employees.
All officers/officials working in the Civil Secretariat are enjoined upon to extend full support and cooperation to Senior Superintendent of Police (Security), Civil Secretariat in regulating the movement/parking of vehicles.

Further, all Administrative Secretaries are requested to bring these instructions to the notice of all employees working in their respective departments, for strict compliance.
