Eligibility Criteria :

Educational Qualification :
For SET (Telecom):
Full-time Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Technology (B.E./B.Tech) degree or equivalent Engineering degree.
Minimum Marks: 60% marks in the degree.
Eligible Disciplines: Electronics & Telecommunication, Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical, Instrumentation, or a combination of these disciplines.
For SET (Finance):
Must be a Chartered Accountant (CA) OR
Cost and Management Accountant (CMA).
Note: Qualifications must be from a recognized Indian University/Institute.
Age Limit (As on 07.03.2026)
Minimum Age: 21 Years
Maximum Age: 30 Years
Age Relaxation:
OBC (NCL): 3 years (up to 33 years)

Selection Process :
The selection procedure is designed to test both your aptitude and technical core knowledge.
Tier 1: Computer Based Test (CBT)
All applicants will undergo a single online examination consisting of two parts.
Duration: 180 Minutes (3 Hours).
Total Marks: 200 Marks.
Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
Part-I (Common Aptitude): 40 Questions (40 Marks). Includes Quantitative Ability, Reasoning, and Verbal Ability.
Part-II (Technical Core): 160 Questions (160 Marks). Based on your stream (Telecom or Finance syllabus).
Qualifying Marks: 40% for General (35% for Reserved categories) in each section separately.
Tier 2: Document Verification & Medical Exam
Candidates who clear the merit cutoff will be called for Document Verification. Finally, appointment is subject to passing the BSNL Medical Examination standards.
