Major Rail Boost for Kashmir as Qazigund–Srinagar Doubling Approved, Baramulla–Uri Line Proposed
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw informed the Rajya Sabha that the Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for the Qazigund–Srinagar–Budgam track doubling and the Baramulla–Uri railway line have been prepared, but are still awaiting approvals, and no timeline for completion has been finalised yet.
