Tentative Seniority List of Cultural Assistants Issued by Information Dept Jammu
Tentative Seniority list of Cultural Assistant of the Information Department (Divisional Cadre), Jammu as it stood on 01-02-2026.
NOTIFICATION
Whereas, the Final Seniority List of the Cultural Assistants of the Joint Directorate of Information, Jammu was notified on 26-02-2021;

Whereas, the Department subsequently made Promotions/Direct appointments in various categories of posts;
Whereas, some officials have also attained Superannuation;
Whereas, it has become imperative to update the seniority list accordingly;
Whereas, vide Director Information Order No INF/70/2025 dated 27-05-2025 and as per the approval conveyed by the Administrative Department vide letter No INF/PR-EsttOG/NG/18/2021-02 (36347) dated 24-04-2025, the pay of Mr. Pawan Kumar was to be fixed notionally from 28-01-2014 and monetarily (regularly) from the date he joined the service as Cultural Assistant Junior Scale in the Information Department i.e. 21-11-2022. Further, the seniority of the official shall be fixed as per service rule/provisions laid down in the Subordinate Service Recruitment Rules of Information Department SRO-123 of 2015 dated 13-04-2015.
Whereas, after examining the service record of Cultural Assistants in Jammu Division, the seniority has been drawn on the basis of Appointment order/merit points and relevant rules;

Now, therefore, the Tentative Seniority list of Cultural Assistant (Divisional Cadre), Jammu forming “Annexure-A” to this notification is circulated for information to all concerned. The same is also uploaded on the Departmental Website dipr.jk.gov.in. Any person having any objection may submit a written representation to the Deputy Director Information (HQ), Jammu within 21 days from the date of issuance of this notification. If no representation is received, then the tentative Seniority list shall be treated as Final.
The date of Birth/Qualification recorded in the seniority list is subject to further verification with the service records.
