Job Recruitment in GMC Rajouri
Applications on the prescribed format are invited from the eligible candidates/ doctors (PSC and Non-PSC) who are permanent residents/domicile of UT of J&K for engagement as Senior Resident/Registrar in various disciplines of Govt. Medical College, Rajouri purely on Academic Arrangement basis initially for a period of one (01) year extendable up to maximum of 03 years subject to satisfactory performance of the candidate.
Maximum age Limit : 50 years as on cut-off date. Selection shall be made as per latest criteria/method/guidelines issued by Administrative Department, Health & Medical Education, Jammu/Srinagar and as per latest Teachers Eligibility Qualifications in Medical Institutions issued by NMC.
The criteria/policy guidelines for Eligibility/Selection of the tenured positions of Senior Residents/Registrar shall be determined vide Government Order No. 383-JK (HME) of 2024 dated 20.06.2024.

The application form annexed with this notice along with requisite documents (self attested) should reach in the office of undersigned by registered post or by hand on or before 05.03.2026 up to 04:00 PM at Mehra Campus, GMC Rajouri.
Applications sent by any other mode or received after the last date shall not be entertained
For PSC (In-service) Candidates
a. The in-service doctor shall be paid salary as per their LPC.
b. The in-service doctor shall be allowed to participate in the selection process only with the prior permission of the Administrative Department as per the Circular No: 05-JK (HME) of 2021 dated 21.12.2021 read with Circular No: 02-JK (HME) of 2020 dated 20.01.2020 and Government Order No: 03-HME of 2019 dated 27.05.2019.
For the purpose they should route their application forms through the Administrative Department. One advance copy should be submitted in the office of the undersigned. However, no candidate shall be allowed to participate the selection process without the prior approval of the Administrative Department.
In case of selection, they will be allowed to join only after being relieved from their Administrative Department.
For Candidates who are not in Government Service (Non-PSC Candidates); the salary shall be paid in accordance with S.O. 364 of 2020 dated 27.11.2020.

APPLICATIONS SHOULD BE ACCOMPANIED WITH SELF ATTESTED COPIES OF THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS:
1. Date of Birth Certificate (10th Diploma/Mark sheet/any other)
2. MBBS all terms marks sheets and degree.
3. Diploma/MD/MS/DNB/Mch/DM all terms marks sheets and qualification of the respective specialty.
4. Attempt certificate of 1st, 2nd, Pre-final and Final MBBS issued by concerned Universities.
5. MCI/NMC or State Medical Council registration certificate.
6. Internship completion certificate.
7. Distinction/ National scholarship/ Honours/ Medals/ Academic Merit Certificate if any.
8. House-Job (Jr.) certificate issued by concerned Principal or Equivalent authority.
9. FMGE certificate in case of MBBS degree from outside the country.
10. Professional publications in a standard medical Journal, if any.
11. NOC from Administrative Department Health & Medical Education, in case of in-service (PSC) candidate.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS :
The decision of the Selection Committee constituted in pursuant to Government Order No. 382-JK (HME) of 2024 dated 20.06.2024 shall be final and binding.
As per Government Order No. 383-JK (HME) of 2024 dated 20.06.2024, the maximum tenure of a Senior Resident shall be three (03) years, and no extension shall be granted under any circumstances.
The candidature of the selected candidates shall remain provisional until the authenticity of their educational qualifications and documents is verified from the issuing authorities.
Candidates are advised to carefully go through the prescribed educational qualifications and required certificates to ensure their
eligibility for the post. If, at any stage, the documents submitted are found to be incorrect, false, or not substantiated by the Selection
Committee, the candidature shall be cancelled and appropriate legal action shall be initiated.
The selected appointee shall be required to submit an affidavit duly attested by a Judicial Magistrate at the time of joining, affirming that he/she will not leave the residency mid-way and shall serve for the entire tenure period.
