Tentative Seniority List of Junior Statistical Assistants of J&K Economics & Statistics (Subordinate) Service as on 01.01.2O26.
CIRCULAR NO, 06 – DES OF 2026
DATED: 24 -02-2026
WHEREAS, the Directorate of Economics & Statistics has notified the Seniority List of Junior Statistical Assistants viz. UT Cadre, Divisional Cadre Jammu and Divisional Cadre Kashmir as on 01.11.2024 vide Order No. 344-DES of 2024 dated 14-12-2024;
AND WHEREAS, the details of I/c Jr. Statistical Assistants (KPOs – UT/KDC/JDC placed as I/c JSA on OPG basis) have not been Included in the tentative seniority and their seniority shall be fixed subsequently at appropriate place after their regularlzation/ confirmation in their respective cadres;
AND WHEREAS, a number of changes have taken place in the seniority list maintained by the Directorate which necessitated the revised and updated Seniority List;
AND WHEREAS, the candldate(s) who have submitted resignation or who have left the job without intimation to the department (Annexure ‘A*) are excluded from the list and action as warranted under rules is being initiated against them separately followed by termination of lien from E&S service.
Now therefore, the Tentative Seniority List (cadre wise) of Junior Statistical Assistants borne on the J&K Economics & Statistics (Subordinate) Service as on 01,01.2026 js hereby notified as per Annexure – I, II & III to this Circular for inviting objections, If any, from the members of the service.

The Tentative Seniority List is also available on the Official Website of Directorate of Economics and Statistics, J&K i.e. www.ecostatjk.nic.in for information of concerned members of the service.
Accordingly, the Junior Statistical Assistants figuring in the tentative seniority list are advised to file their objections, if any, to the Directorate of Economics & Statistics, J&K SDA Colony Bemina, Srinagar /Ashok Vihar, Janipur, Jammu (email: [email protected]) within a period of 21 days from the date of issuance of this Circular with documentary proof in support of their claim. After twenty-one days, no objection shall be entertained
