Clarification / Disclaimer regarding Digital Door Number (DDN) Plates
It is hereby notified for the information of the general public that Digital Door Number (DDN) Plates are being issued by Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) / Jammu Smart City Limited (JSCL) solely for the purpose of unique property identification and digital door numbering, to facilitate delivery of e-Governance and civic services.

It is further clarified that the issuance of Digital Door Numbers and installation of DDN Plates is purely an administrative and service-delivery measure. The same shall not be construed or interpreted as:
* Conferring any right, title, ownership, possession or interest in any property or land;
* Serving as proof of legal ownership, regularization, authorization or legality of any structure; or
* Affecting existing revenue, municipal, land or legal records in any manner whatsoever.
The Digital Door Numbering system is intended only for identification, record-keeping, and efficient public service delivery by Jammu Municipal Corporation.
All residents, property owners, occupants, and other stakeholders are advised to take due note of the above clarification to avoid any misunderstanding.
This Public Notice is issued in the interest of public information.
