Name of the Post : Investigating Officers
NOTIFICATION
Online applications are invited from Retired Officers of J&K Bank for engagement as Investigating Officers for a period of two years

Eligibility Criteria :-
i) Should have retired honorably either superannuated in normal course or through premature Voluntary Retirement not having been awarded any punishment (major) in his active service career from the Jammu & Kashmir Bank Limited from middle management grade and above i.e. Senior Manager (Scale III) & above.
ii) Having minimum experience of 15 years as an Officer in the bank with satisfactory track record.
iii) Scale III and above officers with good track record possessing minimum of 5 years of experience in credit department at branch/s or controlling office/s.
iv) Must not be above the age of 69 years as on 01.02.2026, and should be of sound health.
v) Should be well aware of the computerized environment, well versed and familiar with Core Banking Solution like Finacle and / or any other banking application software used in the Bank.
Application of already engaged Auditors shall not be considered for selection as Investigating Officers.
Application form has been made available on Bank’s website https://jkb.bank.in/ & must be submitted online by or before 18-03-2026.
Hard copies of the downloaded application form along with duly filled annexures provided on bank’s website should reach the Office of Deputy General Manager, S,C & Audit
Department, J&K Bank, Corporate Headquarters, M.A.Road, Srinagar, Kashmir 190001 by or before 25-03-2026 through (Registered Post). Bank reserves the right to reject any application without assigning any reason(s) thereof.
Guidelines & other Terms & Conditions for Investigation Officers
1.) While conducting the Investigation, the Investigating Officers shall ensure that violations, of gross nature if any, from prescribed systems and procedures are timely brought to the notice of the Management for corrective and remedial action so also to avoid their repetition.
2.) It is obligatory on the part of the Retired Officers that the cases allotted to them for the purpose of conducting investigation should under no circumstances be entrusted / sublet to any other firm or individual on contract basis.
3.) It should be ensured that the information on customers of the bank which you would acquire during the conduct of investigation by virtue of access to bank’s books / record would be kept strictly confidential in conforming to the bank’s secrecy obligations. It should also be noted that retired officer/ would be liable to the bank for any loss arising out of divulgence of any information by you. The bank shall also remain indemnified by you in this regard. A secrecy bond enclosed herewith should be returned duly signed by Investigating Officer on Rs. 100/- Non-Judicial Stamp Paper.

i) Profile as per Annexure.
ii) Letter of Acceptance dully signed.
iii) Form of Declaration of Secrecy and Fidelity on Rs. 100/- Non Judicial Stamp Paper.
iv) Copy of Terms and conditions (duly Accepted & Signed).
v) Declaration.
vi) Affidavit.
vii) Medical Fitness Certificate.
