JKEDI List of Candidates whose cases have been approved Under SCFS

The 111th Steering Committee Meeting of Seed Capital Fund Scheme and 55th of Youth Startup Loan Scheme (MS) were held on February 08, 2018 at J.L.N Udhyog Bhawan, JKEDI, Jammu, under the chairmanship of Shri Kifayat Hussain Rizvi,1AS, Secretary, Labour & Employment Department, J&K Government for examining the Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) submitted by various candidates trained and promoted under the scheme. Those who participated in the meeting were Dr. M. I. Parray, Director JKEDI; Sh.Ghulam Nabi Balwan, Director Employment Department, J&K Government; Sh Tej Pal Singh, Asst. Vice President, J&K Bank Limited and sectoral experts from line departments.

Under SCFS, Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for the establishment of 277 enterprises involving 277 entrepreneurs were placed before the Committee for consideration and approval.

DPRs in respect of 231 enterprises involving 231 entrepreneurs were approved. All these cases involved total Project Cost of Rs. 55 lacs, including Term Loan of Rs.721.57 lacs, Working Capital of Rs.877.63 lacs, Seed Capital of Rs. 778.07 lacs and Beneficiaries Contribution of Rs. 83.22 lacs.

The Steering committee sought certain clarifications in respect of 03 cases which will be considered in next steering committee after the relevant issues are clarified.

43 cases were rejected in view of the fact that the candidate was found already in business or not interested.

Under YSLS, Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for the establishment of 30 enterprises involving 30 entrepreneurs were placed before the Committee for consideration and approval. Besides, 01cases which were approved in the previous meeting were placed before the steering committee again for re-consideration in view of the representation submitted by the concerned candidates.

DPRs in respect of 29 enterprises involving 29 entrepreneurs were approved. All these cases involved total Project Cost of Rs. 202.55 lacs, including Term Loan of Rs.64.48 lacs, Working Capital of Rs.114.72 lacs and Beneficiaries Contribution of Rs. 23.35 lacs.

The Steering committee sought some clarifications in respect of 01 case which will be considered in next steering committee after the relevant issues are clarified.
