Age Limit (as on 01 April 2026)
Fresh candidates (no teaching experience) should be below 40 years.
Experienced candidates (including ESM) should be below 57 years with minimum 5 years experience in the last 10 years.
For Army spouses, minimum 5 years cumulative experience is required.
Educational Qualification
Educational qualifications will be as per AWES guidelines and CBSE bylaws for all posts. Candidates should visit the school website for detailed information.
Application Process
Desirous and eligible candidates must apply on the prescribed application form available on the school website (www.apsdamana.org.in). The completed application form should be submitted along with self-attested copies of academic and experience certificates and a registration fee of Rs 250 (non-refundable).
The fee should be submitted through Demand Draft in favour of “Army Public School Damana” payable at Jammu.
Applications must be submitted in the school office on or before 13 March 2026 (Friday) before 12:00 noon.
A latest passport-size coloured photograph should be pasted on the application form.
Note:
Applications sent through email will not be accepted. Incomplete applications will be rejected. Separate application forms must be filled for each category.
Selection Process
The screening exam will be held on 18 March 2026 (Wednesday) at 1:30 PM in the school premises.
Candidates who are CSB qualified are not required to appear in the screening exam.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interview through the school website. They will also appear for a Computer Literacy Test on the day of interview.
Additional Information
Candidates from defence background will be given preference.
Concession will be provided for widows of battle casualties/battle accidents and wives of disabled army personnel with 100% disability as per AWES rules.
Salary
Salary will be as per AWES rules.
The school management reserves the right to fill any or none of the posts mentioned above.
No TA/DA will be admissible.
