Class 12 Board Exams Postponed by CBSE in Middle East from March 12–16, 2026
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a circular regarding the Class XII Board Examinations in Middle East regions.
Addressed to the principals of CBSE-affiliated schools in Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, the board stated that the decision follows a review of the current situation in these countries. Considering the prevailing uncertainties and the stress being faced by students, the board has decided to postpone the Class 12 board examinations scheduled from March 12 to March 16, 2026. The revised examination dates will be announced later.

The board further informed that the situation will be reviewed again on March 14, 2026, after which appropriate decisions will be taken regarding the examinations scheduled from March 16 onwards.

The circular was issued by Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj, Controller of Examinations at the Central Board of Secondary Education.
