Govt has Notified Policy for Regularisation of daily rated workers
Minister for Revenue & Parliamentary Affairs, Abdul Rehman Veeri on behalf of finance minister today informed the Legislative Assembly that the Government has already formulated a policy to regularize all eligible workers engaged in various government departments across the State.
He said the policy notified vide SRO-520 dated: 21-122017 is applicable to all such casual, seasonal, daily rated workers engaged post 31st January 1994 in the State.
While replying to a Question by Usman Abdul Maj id, the Minister said that as per the information collected through online Aadhaar based bio-metric identification process, the total number of persons whose particulars have been registered is 1,00,501.
He said an Empowered Committee in the Finance Department after proper scrutiny of proposals from the concerned Departments shall recommend .u r at j ku pd a te s.creation of commensurate positions of “Government Service Assistants” (GSA5). The number of actual eligible persons shall be available only after Empowered Committee screens the departmental proposals, said the Minister, an official handout said.
MRS FOR 7 NEW WSSS IN TRAL Minister for PHE, Irrigation & Flood Control, Sham Lal Choudhary today informed the Legislative Assembly that the Government has formulated seven DPRs amounting to Rs 19.34 crore for developing new Water Supply Schemes (WSS) in the Tral Constituency to improve the overall drinking water scenario. He said the new WSSs have .u r at jk up d a te s.been proposed at Noorpora, Badsura, Pinglish, Badil Sahab Arigam, Amirabad, Chukpora Khan Basti Mandoora and Nun Nagh Rathsuna. Replying to a question by MLA Tral Mushtaq Ahmed Shah, the Minister informed that presently there is a network of 60 WSSs in Tral Constituency to cater to the drinking water needs of inhabitants, out of which 26 are functional, 17 are partially functional, 16 are on-going and one scheme is non-functional due to failure of tube-well.
DIALYSIS FACILITY
Minister for Health and Medical Education, Bali Bhagat today informed the Legislative Assembly that every District Hospital in the State will be provided with dialysis facility within next two months.
Replying to a Question by MLA Kupwara Advocate Bashir Ahmad Dar, the Minister said that one Dialysis Centre is being established in District Kupwara .u r at jk u pd a t e s.under Centrally Sponsored Scheme “National Dialysis Programme (NDP)” and for District Hospital Handwara, funds have been released under National Health Mission during the current fiscal, he added.
While replying to another part of the Question the Minister said that the MoU submitted earlier to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare for setting up a Tertiary Care Cancer Centre (TCCC) at Kupwara was not accepted. He said the Union Government has sought .u r at j k u p d a t e s.Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB)/ Baba Atomic Research Centre (BARC) approved layout plan and approved letter. The same has not been obtained from AERB/BARC and the approval letter along with revised MoU has been submitted to Union Government for approval and funding. As soon as the formal sanction and grant-in-aid is received, necessary steps would be taken to establish TCCC at Kupwara, said the Minister.
RECEIVING STATIONS IN SHOPIAN
Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh today informed the House that augmentation has already been undertaken for two out of three Receiving Stations primarily feeding the areas of Wachi Constituency, besides two additional have been sanctioned to overcome the power crisis in the area.
WSSS IN PULWAMA DELAYED Minister for Public Health Engineering & Irrigation & Flood Control, Sham Lal Choudhary today informed the House that three Water Supply Schemes (WSS) in district Pulwama could not be commissioned on time due to cost overrun. He said revised Detailed Project Report (DPR) have now prepared for completion of remaining works of these WSSs to ensure early commissioning.
DPR PREPARED FOR WSS IN SHOPIAN, WACHI
Minister for Public Health Engineering and Irrigation & Flood Control, Sham Lal Choudhary today informed the House that a DPR for tapping source for 25 Water Supply Schemes of Shopian and Wachi constituencies has been prepared at an estimated cost of Rs 32.53 crore.
8 WORKS UNDER EXECUTION IN SHANGUS
The Government on Monday said that eight works are in progress in Shangus constituency under State and District sector to complete various Primary Health Centres, Sub-District Hospital and New Type Primary Health Centres (NTPHC).
3 ADDITIONAL RECEIVING STATIONS FOR TRAL
Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh today informed the House that to augment power supply in Tral, three additional Receiving Stations have been sanctioned under various Centrally Sponsored Schemes. These Receiving Stations include 6.3 MVA Aripal, lx10 MVA Tral Bala and 6.3 MVA Noorpora.
