J&K Combined Competitive Examination (KAS) 2024 Results Announced
Result of J&K Combined Competitive Examination 2024- Deployment of Candidates for Medical Examination thereof.
Notification No: 16- PSC (DR-S) of 2026 Dated:13.03.2026
Whereas, the General Administration Department, vide Communication No. GADSERVOKAS/4/2024 dated 23.07.2024, referred 90 posts under J&K Combined Competitive Examination-2024, to the J&K Public Service Commission, for being filled up through the
Combined Competitive Examination; and,
Whereas, these posts were advertised vide Notification No. 04- PSC(DR-P) of 2024 dated: 26.07.2024; and,
Whereas, 31644 candidates were provisionally allowed to appear in the Preliminary Examination; and,
Whereas, the Preliminary Examination was conducted on 23.02.2025,in which 19659 candidates appeared; and,
Whereas, as per the criteria fixed by the Commission, vide Notification No. PSC/Exam/S/2025/14 dated: 20.03.2025, a total of 2768 candidates were declared to have qualified for the Mains Examination including 23 applicants who were allowed to appear on
the directions of Hon’ble Central Administrative Tribunal; and,
Whereas, the J&K Combined Competitive (Mains) Examination, 2024, was held from 23.07.2025 to 01.08.2025 both at Jammu and Srinagar in which 2492 candidates appeared in all papers; and,
Whereas, as per the criteria fixed by the Commission in accordance with SRO-103 of 2018 dated 23.02.2018, as amended from time to time, 345 candidates were declared to have qualified for the Interview/Viva-Voice/Personality Test vide Notification No.
PSC/Exam(s)/2026/04 dated 21.01.2026. However, the candidature of three candidates was rejected and in their place three candidates from the respective categories were called for interview; and,
Whereas, in addition, 06 applicants (petitioners) were also called for interview in pursuance of the Orders from the Hon’ble Central Administrative Tribunal; and,
Whereas, the Personality Test (Interview) of the candidates was held from 05.03.2026 to 13.03.2026 at the Jammu Office of the J&KPSC; and,
Whereas, out of 345 candidates, 04 did not appear in the interview; and,
Whereas, the Commission in its Meeting held on 13.03.2026, decided to declare the result of 340 candidates who appeared in the interview and also notify their aggregate marks and recommend 90 candidates for Medical Examination in accordance with the relevant rules.
