Position : Junior Research Fellow (01 No.)

Emoluments:
₹ 37,000 + HRA (16%) per month

Essential Qualification:

M.Sc. (Ag.) with NET / M.Sc. in Life Sciences with NET / M.Sc. Biotechnology with NET / M.Sc. Microbiology with NET

Desirable Qualification:

Ph.D. & experience in molecular techniques and conducting field demonstrations

Position: Young Professional-I (01 No.)

Emoluments:
₹ 30,000 (consolidated) per month

Essential Qualification:
M.Sc. (Ag.)

Desirable Qualification:
Ph.D. & experience in conducting field experiments

Recruitment in PM SHRI KV Sunjuwan (Jammu)

Position : Project Assistant

Emoluments:
₹ 20,000 (consolidated) per month

Essential Qualification:
M.Sc. (Ag.) / M.Sc. Plant Pathology / Microbiology

Desirable Qualification:
Experience in conducting field experiments

Age Limit

The minimum age under Young Professional-I (YP-I) will be 21 years and maximum 45 years, and for JRF & PA as per DBT guidelines.

Duties and Responsibilities

Conducting field experiments, microbial analysis, analysis of data, compilation of project reports and performing other duties related to the project as assigned by the Principal Investigator from time to time for successful implementation of the project.

Terms and Conditions

a) The positions are purely temporary to be filled initially for a period of six months and extension shall be granted on the basis of performance of the appointee.

b) The University reserves the right to fill or not to fill the position, depending on the qualifications/credentials of the candidates applied etc.

c) The post is temporary and co-terminus with the project. The services of the incumbent shall stand terminated automatically on expiry of the project with no claim of absorption against any temporary/regular post in the University.

d) The appointee can be terminated at any time by university without assigning any reason thereof.

The application in prescribed format should reach in the office of Prof. Vishal Gupta,
Head, Division of Plant Pathology, Faculty of Agriculture, SKUAST-Jammu, Chatha, 180 009, Jammu (J&K) along with attested copies of the certificates on or before 07.04.2026 up to 4.00 pm through registered/speed post only.

The interview of eligible candidates shall be conducted on 09.04.2026 at 02.00 PM at Directorate of Research, SKUAST-Jammu, Chatha.

No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview.
