Bilal Arif Sarafi, a commander of Pakistan-based terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba, was allegedly stabbed and shot dead by his own family members after Eid prayers in Pakistan on Saturday, according to a report by NDTV citing sources.

The incident reportedly took place near the group’s destroyed headquarters close to Markaz in Muridke.

The exact motive behind the killing remains unclear, though intelligence sources suspect it may have stemmed from a family dispute, the report said.

Those involved in the murder have been arrested, the report said.
