Job Recruitment in SKUAST Jammu
Walk-in-interview for recruitment of Project Co-Ordinator under the project ‘Gendered
Analysis of Climate Risks and Adaptation Strategies in Livestock Farming in Jammu division of UT of J&K’ funded by National Commission for Women, GoI, New Delhi in the Directorate of Research, SKUAST-Jammu, Main Campus Chatha at 11:00 am on 7 th April 2026.
The candidates possessing relevant qualification and experience as mentioned below in the table may appear in the interview.
Income tax Recruitment, salary : Rs 60,000 PM
The candidate must appear in person for the interview along with the original qualification documents and one set of self-attested photocopies of all relevant documents.

Essential qualification : 12th pass from a recognized board
Desirable qualification :
• Working knowledge of computers and common software applications such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and internet-based tools.
• Willingness to undertake extensive field visits in rural and hilly areas of Jammu division (having minimum one year of experience in field survey and data collection)
• Ability to assist in documentation, report preparation and project-related support activities.
Monthly Emoluments : Rs 15,000/- as per NCW guidelines

Terms and Conditions :
1. The post is temporary and on a purely contractual basis up to termination of the
project.
The services of the selected candidate will be as per NCW, GoI, New Delhi/ SKUAST-J guidelines.

2. The candidates shall have no legal right to claim his/her regularization/appointment
by absorption or otherwise against any regular post or any other contractual engagement, as the project is purely time-bound and non- regular.
The post is temporary and co-terminus with the project. The services of the incumbent shall stand terminated automatically on expiry of the period of the project.
3. The university/funding agency reserves right to withdraw the advertised post at any
stage without assigning any reason.
4. No objection and experience certificate from the current employer in case she/he is in employment
