Iran has warned that the ongoing conflict could expand beyond its current scope, alleging that the United States and Israel may attempt to draw other countries into the confrontation or stage “false-flag operations”, according to Iranian state media Press TV as cited .

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi made the remarks during a phone call with his Greek counterpart Georgios Gerapetritis, amid escalating tensions in West Asia.

As quoted by Press TV and cited by News agency, Araghchi cautioned that Washington and Tel Aviv could attempt to expand what he described as “unprovoked aggression” against Iran by compelling other countries to participate or by conducting operations designed to implicate third nations.
