Applications on the prescribed format are invited from eligible candidates for engagement as Krishi Udyamis (KUs) on a contractual basis for a period of two years (extendable), subject to the terms and conditions laid down in the contract agreement.
Key Details:
Position:
Krishi Udyami (KU) / Agricultural Entrepreneur
Number of Positions:
Seven (07) positions across pre-identified Panchayat Level Kisan Khidmat Ghars (KKGs) of District Kathua (list enclosed at Annexure-I).
Engagement Duration:
Initially for a period of 2 years, with the possibility of annual extensions, subject to satisfactory performance of the PLE.
Qualification:
Diploma in Agriculture and Allied Fields or
Graduation in Science (BSc) / Graduation in Agriculture and Allied Fields (BSc / BVSc)
Additional preference will be given to candidates possessing:
Post-graduation in science / agriculture and allied fields
Computer diplomas / certifications
Diploma Courses Include:
Diploma in Agriculture, Horticulture, Veterinary Sciences, Forestry, Fisheries, Sericulture, Agricultural Engineering, BHT, BAT from a government-recognized institution.
Agriculture Allied Courses Include:
BSc in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Fisheries, Sericulture;
B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering;
BVSc & AH from a government-recognized institution.
Computer Qualification:
Diploma / certification course in computers of 3 months or more duration from a government-recognized institution.

Job Profile:
Operate Kisan Khidmat Ghars (KKGs) under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme in Jammu & Kashmir, as per details mentioned at point F.
Remuneration:
The engagement is based on a self-earning / entrepreneur model. Full details of KKG operations can be viewed at points F & G of the advertisement.
