UPPER AGE LIMIT :

a) The upper age limit for applying these posts is 45 years as on last date of filling of online application form.

b) Age relaxation will not be applicable to SC/ST/OBC candidates applying for UR vacancies.

c) The maximum permissible relaxations are:

i) SC/ST candidates : 5 years
ii) OBC candidates : 3 years
iii) Persons with Bench-mark Disabilities [PwBD] General Category : 10 years
iv) Persons with Bench-mark Disabilities [PwBD] OBC Category : 13 years
v) Persons with Bench-mark Disabilities [PwBD] SC/ST Category : 15 years

SELECTION PROCEDURE :

a. A Candidate can apply only in any one Specialty out of the Specialties as enlisted. In case, a candidate wishes to apply for more than one post/speciality, he/she is required to fill up application form separately and by paying application fees, as applicable.

b. The candidates are required to report for the interview at 9.30 AM at the venue of Interview i.e Board Room, Academic Block, AIIMS Vijaypur Jammu, 181134. After 11.30 AM, the attendance will be closed and no candidate may be entertained.

c. Candidates are required to bring original certificates (along with TWO sets of self-attested Photocopies) of following documents for verification. Only those candidates whose certificates are found to be in order shall be permitted to appear for the Interview.

i. Date of Birth (i.e. High School/Higher Secondary Certificate/Birth Certificate);

ii. Qualifying degree (MBBS / BDS / MD / MS / MDS / Ph.D. / M.Sc. / B.Sc. / DM / M.Ch. / others / as applicable);

iii. Valid Permanent/Provisional Registration Certificate issued by MCI or DCI/State Medical or Dental Council/DMC;

iv. SC / ST / OBC / EWS / PwBD certificate – valid for central government jobs/PwBD;

v. No objection certificate from current employer (wherever applicable) at the time of Interview; &

vi. Completion of tenure and passing proof

vii. Identity Proof (Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Driving Licence, Passport etc.)

d. After filling available posts all remaining otherwise eligible candidates called for interview shall be kept in the waiting list, if any, which will be valid till 31.12.2026 or till next recruitment whichever is earlier. Any vacancy arising because of non-joining by selected candidates in this selection or by resignation of candidate(s) who had joined after selection in this session may be offered to the candidate from the waiting list according to his/her merit/category.

e. Final Result will only be available on AIIMS website at www.aiimsjammu.edu.in.

f. The candidate must submit registration with MCI or DCI/State Medical or Dental Council/DMC, as applicable, at the time of joining the post after selection.

g. The selection process will be governed by the Governance Manual of AIIMS Jammu. In case of any discrepancy, the decision of the Executive Director & CEO of the Institute shall be final in the matter of selection of candidates and no appeal will be entertained in this regard

v. Medical Degree registration certificate
vi. Passport size photograph, Signature & Thumb impression

However, if a candidate desires to apply for more than one post in different department/speciality/category, separate application form may be filled up by paying separate application fee, as applicable.

c) Instructions for uploading passport size photograph:
i. Photograph must be in colour with white background.
ii. Candidate’s face must be clearly visible.
iii. Image must be in jpg/.jpeg/.gif/.png format.
iv. Image must be not blurred in the process of editing.

Note :
1. All eligible applicants, irrespective of their category, may also be considered for the seats advertised under one of the reservation categories. In case of non-availability of candidates in the reservation category in which the seat has been advertised, the candidates belonging to other categories including Unreserved will be considered for appointment not exceeding beyond 44 days, which can be extended further by the competent authority, strictly as per the guidelines issued by the Government of India in this regard.
