I. Qualifications and Other Details of the Post
1. Workshop Superintendent
Pay Range: ₹44,900 – 1,42,400
Level: 07
No. of Vacant Positions: Open Merit – 01 (Post Code: IOT-IOT-6)
Eligibility Criteria:
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or Mechatronics from a recognized University with at least 50% marks.
2. Workshop Instructor
Pay Range: ₹35,400 – 1,12,400
Level: 06
No. of Vacant Positions: Open Merit – 01 (Post Code: IOT-IOT-7)
Eligibility Criteria:
03 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with at least 50% marks from a recognized Institute
OR
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with at least 50% marks from a recognized University.
Recruitment in Army Public School, Udhampur
AGE :
The age of candidates as on 01.01.2026 should be:
1. Not below 18 years; and
2. Not above
a. 40 years in case of Open merit;
b. 42 years in case of Physically Challenged candidates;
c. 43 years in case of SC/ST-1/ST-2/RBA/OBC/EWS/LAC/IB;
d. 50 years in case of Substantiated In-service State University Employees of the UT of Jammu and Kashmir
