Engagement of Faculty under Academic Arrangement
Selection for engagement of Faculty under S.O. 364 of 2020 read with Government Order No. 282-JK (HME) of 2023 dated 04-04-2023.
Applications are invited from eligible candidates (Doctors – Non-PSC / Retired) for engagement on Academic Arrangement Basis under S.O. 364 of 2020 dated 27-11-2020, read with Government Order No. 282-JK (HME) of 2023 dated 04-04-2023.
The initial engagement shall be for one year, extendable up to a maximum of six years (one year at a time), subject to satisfactory performance and conduct, or till regular selection/promotion is made by PSC/DPC, whichever is earlier.
This engagement is subject to any writ petition pending before the Hon’ble Court of Law.

In-service candidates are not eligible.
Selection Committee shall be constituted strictly as per S.O. 364 of 2020.

Affidavit duly attested by 1st Class Magistrate stating the Doctor is not in active Government Service
Category Certificate (if applicable)
Any other document required by the Selection Committee during recruitment
Number of vacancies may increase/decrease or may not be available at the time of selection
Important Conditions
Upper age limit for Professor/Assistant Professor (including retired faculty of Govt. recognized institutions/hospitals) shall not exceed 67 years on the date of issuance of notice.
Selected candidates must sign an agreement to complete one year of contract. Early termination requires one month’s prior notice, failing which one month’s salary will be forfeited.
Engagement may be terminated without notice in case of misconduct, indiscipline, or unsatisfactory performance.
Applications from in-service candidates will not be entertained.
Incomplete applications or applications without required documents will be rejected.
