University of Kashmir OMR-Based Written Test Notice

(For below-mentioned posts advertised vide Advertisement Notice No. 03 of 2024 dated 27.12.2024)

It is hereby notified for the information of all concerned that the OMR-based written examination for eligible candidates who have applied for the following posts, advertised vide the above-cited notice, will be conducted as per the details given below:

Posts and Examination Schedule

Research Investigator
Date of Test: 16.04.2026
Timing: 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM

Field Investigator
Date of Test: 17.04.2026
Timing: 10:30 AM to 12:00 Noon

CRPF Constable Recruitment 2026, 9,195 Posts

Venue:
Examination Halls of Humanities Block, University of Kashmir

All applicants who have submitted their application forms for the above-mentioned posts are advised to appear for the examination as scheduled. Candidates are also advised to regularly check the official website for updates.

Important Instructions for Candidates

Mere appearance in the OMR-based test is purely provisional and shall not confer any right to appointment.

Eligibility of candidates shall be determined strictly at the time of document verification.

There will be 80 MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions), and each correct answer will carry 1 mark.

There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

The time allotted for the test will be 90 minutes.

Candidates must carry a valid photo ID proof along with their Admit Card to the examination venue.

Candidates are advised to reach the venue at least one hour before the scheduled examination time.

The online link for downloading Admit Cards will be made available on the official website of the University by 13.04.2026
