J&K Secretariat PS Cadre Seniority List 2026 Released

Final seniority list of members of the J&K Secretariat (Gazetted) Service-II (Private Secretaries Cadre) as on 01.01.2026.

WHEREAS, in terms of Government Order No. 121-JK(GAD) of 2026, dated 28.01.2026, a tentative seniority list of members of the J&K Secretariat (Gazetted) Service-II (Private Secretaries Cadre), as it stood on 01.01.2026, was notified for information of all the concerned officers/members;

AND WHEREAS, it was inter-alia, provided in the ibid Government Order:-

i) that any member of the service included in the tentative seniority list, aggrieved with the position assigned to him/her, or with details vis-à-vis his/her Date of Birth, may file appropriate objection(s)/representation(s), along-with documentary evidence, within a period of 21 days from the date of issuance of the tentative seniority list; and

ii) that details vis-à-vis reserved category to which a member belongs, excluding ST and SC candidates, shall be mentioned against the name in the final seniority list only after a valid certificate in this regard is produced by the candidate within a period of 21 days from the date of issuance of the tentative seniority list;

AND WHEREAS, no objection has been raised by any officer to the seniority position assigned in the tentative seniority list;

AND WHEREAS, representations have been received from various officers regarding rectification of name(s), and the incorporation of category status against their name(s);

AND WHEREAS, these representations have been examined with reference to the relevant records and found to be substantiated on merit and accordingly, necessary corrections to names and the incorporation of category status have been made.
