Salary :
The salary for SSC Selection Posts Phase XIV 2026 is based on the 7th Central Pay Commission. The pay level ranges from Level 1 to Level 7, depending on the post.
Pay Level 1: ₹18,000 – ₹56,900 (Medical Attendant, Ward Attendant, MTS, Field Assistant)
Pay Level 2: ₹19,900 – ₹63,200 (Laboratory Assistant, Store Clerk, Stockman)
Pay Level 4: ₹25,500 – ₹81,100 (Drilling Assistant, Deputy Ranger, Lab Assistant Grade-II)
Pay Level 5: ₹29,200 – ₹92,300 (Pharmacist, Taxidermist, Lab Assistant Grade I, Junior Chemist)
Pay Level 6: ₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400 (JE QA, Surveyor, Personal Assistant, Accountant, Junior Wireless Officer)
Pay Level 7: ₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400 (Nursing Officer, Research Assistant)
With all allowances like DA, HRA, and TA combined, the approximate in-hand salary ranges from ₹22,000 to ₹85,000+ per month, depending on the post and posting location.

Selection Process :
Stage 1: Computer Based Examination (CBE)
The CBE is an objective-type exam with the following pattern:

The exam will be held in June 2026 (tentative). Three separate CBE tests will be conducted for Matriculation, Higher Secondary, and Graduation level posts. Stage 2: Document Verification (DV)
Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification by the respective user department. Candidates must carry original certificates for age, qualification, category, and experience.
Stage 3: Skill Test / Medical Examination
Where applicable, candidates may be required to appear for a skill test (typing, shorthand, physical standards) and/or medical examination as prescribed for the specific post.
