Passport Office Srinagar invites applications from eligible candidates for engagement of Young Professional (01 post) on a contract basis.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification: At least Graduate or equivalent from a recognized University

Age Limit: Below 40 years as on the date of advertisement

Experience: Minimum 1 year in Government sector will be preferred

3003 Posts: SSC Recruitment 2026, Salary Upto ₹1,42,400

Scope of Duties:

Selected candidate will perform duties assigned by the Passport Officer, including administrative work, accounts, legal matters, and social media-related tasks.

Terms & Conditions:

Number of Posts: 01

Engagement Period: Initially 1 year (extendable up to 3 years based on performance)

Nature of Engagement: Purely contractual (no claim for permanent position)

Age Limit: Below 40 years

Monthly Remuneration: ₹60,000/- (for Post Graduates)

Allowances: No additional allowances admissible

Leave: 8 days Casual Leave per year (pro-rata basis) + restricted maternity benefit as per rules

Working Hours: As per Passport Office working schedule

Termination: Can be terminated anytime with one month notice (or payment in lieu)

Confidentiality: Candidates must adhere to Official Secrets Act, 1923

Conflict of Interest: Must disclose any conflict and maintain integrity

TA/DA (Travel Allowance):

Air (Economy) or Rail (AC Two Tier) allowed for official duties

Hotel accommodation up to ₹5,750/day

Taxi charges up to ₹2,225/day

Daily food allowance up to ₹800/day
