School Education Deptt Released Tentative Seniority List – PG Masters/PG Teachers
Tentative seniority list of PG Masters/PG Teachers in the discipline of Stenography as on 01.01.2026.
NOTICE
WHEREAS, the final seniority list of PG Masters/PG Teachers in the discipline of Stenography was issued vide Government Order No. 199-Edu of 2020, dated 04.09.2020;
AND WHEREAS, after the issuance of the final seniority list, the Department received some objections/representations from cadre members/Directorates for correction/inclusion/up-dation of service particulars in the seniority list;
AND WHEREAS, the objections received by the Department have been examined/scrutinized and necessary corrections/additions/deletions etc., wherever required, have been made in the seniority list;

AND WHEREAS, the Designated Committees have recommended 04 incumbents, (Annexure-D) in light of Government Order No. 188-JK (Edu) of 2024 dated 15.03.2024, who have obtained their PG degrees through distance/private mode during service. The recommendations made in their favour, after examination in the Department, have been accepted by the Competent Authority;
AND WHEREAS, some of the incumbents, who have obtained their PG degrees during service and whose cases have not yet been recommended by the Designated Committees constituted vide Government Order No. 188-JK(Edu) of 2024 dated 15.03.2024, have also been incorporated in the seniority list, with the condition that their inclusion in seniority is subject to the condition that proper permission has been/is granted by the Competent Authority for acquiring the PG degree during service. Their names shall be deemed to have been deleted from the seniority list, ab-initio, in case the recommendations are not received in the time frame decided in the ibid Government order;
AND WHEREAS, the inclusion of incumbents in the seniority is subject to the condition that they fulfil the criteria as laid down in J&K Education (G) Service Recruitment Rules, 2010 and all ineligible incumbents shall be deemed to have been deleted from the seniority ab initio.
Now, therefore, tentative seniority list in respect of PG Masters/PG Teachers in the discipline of Stenography, forming “Annexure-A” to this notice, is hereby circulated for inviting objections, if any, from the concerned members of the service, who either is/are not included in the list or is/are aggrieved with the position assigned to them in the tentative seniority list along with authenticated documentary proof of their service particulars/bio-data, within a period of 15 days from the date of issuance of the list. The objections must be filed/forwarded through concerned Directorates, so as to reach the Administrative Department within stipulated time. Further, no objections in this regard shall be entertained after expiry of the stipulated time period.
Moreover, 17 incumbents have been included in the tentative seniority list at appropriate places as detailed in “Annexure-B” and 17 incumbents have been deleted from the Tentative seniority list as detailed in “Annexure-C” for the reasons as shown against each.
