For General / OBC (NCL) / EWS: ₹300/- (for DTE/DTC/DTS/JOT posts) or ₹200/- (for JTT Survey post)

For  SC / ST / PwBD / Ex-Servicemen: No fee (exempted)

Selection Process :

Written Test / Computer Based Test (CBT) – 100% weightage (170 objective questions: 120 Technical/Professional Knowledge + 50 Aptitude)

Computer Skill Test (CST) (for JOT HR / F&A) – Qualifying in nature

Trade Test (TT) (for JTT Survey) – Qualifying in nature

Pre-Employment Medical Examination

CBT Qualifying Criteria: Minimum 40% aggregate (UR/EWS) / 30% aggregate (reserved) with separate minimum in each part (for Diploma / JOT posts). For JTT: 40% (UR/EWS) / 30% (reserved).

Software

Final merit is based on CBT marks only (CST / Trade Test is only qualifying).

Upload recent passport size photograph (50 KB), signature (50 KB) and all required documents in prescribed format.

Pay application fee online (if applicable) through Payment Gateway.

Candidates can edit/update application till the last date. No changes allowed after closing.

Eligible candidates who wish to apply for the POWERGRID Diploma Trainee, Junior Officer Trainee and Junior Technician Trainee posts can do so by submitting their application form online through the official POWERGRID website. The application process for the POWERGRID Recruitment 2026 is completely online, and candidates must ensure that they complete all steps before the deadline.

The online application process for the POWERGRID Non-Executive Recruitment 2026 will begin on 20 April 2026 at 5:00 PM through the POWERGRID career portal. Eligible candidates are encouraged to fill out the application form and upload the required documents including recent passport-sized photograph and signature in prescribed format.

Take printout of the submitted online application for future reference.

Last date for submission of online application is 11 May 2026 (23:59 Hours).
