Rain, Thunderstorms Likely Across J&K: MeT

The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has forecast a mix of cloudy conditions, intermittent rainfall, and thunderstorms across Jammu and Kashmir over the coming days, with a significant weather disturbance expected between May 3 and May 5.

According to the latest forecast, April 30 will witness partly cloudy skies with brief spells of light rain or thunder at scattered places, mainly during the afternoon or late afternoon hours.

From May 1 to 2, weather conditions are expected to remain largely dry, although brief showers during afternoon hours cannot be ruled out.

However, a notable shift is predicted between May 3 and May 5, when the region is likely to experience generally cloudy skies along with one or two spells of light to moderate rain and thundershowers at many places.
