Eligibility Criteria :

All eligibility criteria including age, qualification, and experience are as on the cut-off date of 30.04.2026. Only Full Time Regular courses will be considered (except CA/CMA/CS). The specified qualification should have been acquired within the prescribed minimum course duration. Candidates are required to specify the exact percentage marks up to two decimal places; rounding off of marks is not allowed.

Emoluments (Pay Scale & CTC) :

CTC is calculated on basic pay at the lowest of the scale and includes Basic Pay, DA, HRA, Other Perks & Allowances, encashment of earned leaves, and Retirement benefits as applicable. Post-Retirement Medical Coverage Scheme is applicable to candidates who are 45 years of age or below as on the date on which they come on the regular rolls of the Company.

Experience Relaxation: Post-graduates in engineering (relevant to the post) will be given 1 year relaxation in experience where minimum requirement is B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.). Ph.D in Engineering (relevant to the post) will be given 4 years relaxation in experience. PhD in Business Administration (relevant to the post) will be given 2 years relaxation from that applicable for post-graduation.

 

Selection Process :

Prescribed qualification/experience are the minimum and mere possession does not entitle a candidate for the selection process. EIL may restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview/skill test by raising the percentage of marks and/or relevance of experience. Only shortlisted candidates will be informed for interview/skill test through email.

How to Apply ?

Applications must be submitted online only through the career link on EIL’s official website http://www.engineersindia.com. Online submission will be permitted between 0000 hrs on 09.05.2026 till 2359 hrs on 25.05.2026. A candidate can apply for one position only — in case of multiple applications, the latest one shall be considered as final and older applications shall be rejected without notice. Applications once submitted cannot be withdrawn.

Any change in advertisement (including extension of last date) shall be published on EIL’s website only — no separate notification shall be issued in press/other medium. The email address specified in the application should be valid/functional for at least 24 months from the date of submission.

Latest passport size colour photograph in .jpg/.jpeg format (not more than 75 KB)

Signature in .jpg/.jpeg format (not more than 25 KB)

Date of birth proof — Class X Certificate/Marksheet in .jpg/.jpeg format

Certificate/valid documentary proof regarding pay scale (as per Note 3/Note 4 on page 11 of notification) uploaded along with experience documents

Disability certificate (PwD) in .jpg/.jpeg/.pdf format (not more than 500 KB)

Caste certificate — OBC/SC/ST/EWS certificate, if applicable, in .jpg/.jpeg/.pdf format (not more than 500 KB)

Note: OBC-NCL certificate must be valid as on the closing date of application (25.05.2026). Any candidate applying without uploading valid OBC-NCL certificate will be rejected. Only castes included in the Central list of OBC as given in the official website of National Commission for Backward Classes will be considered.

Proof of Age — Certificate for passing Matriculation/Higher Secondary mentioning date of birth

Educational qualifications — all year/semester marksheets and certificates

Proof of Experience — Service Certificate of past employment indicating designation, date of joining and release [From-To] & continuity in present organization

Pay slips/Salary certificate (duly authenticated) for the past 3 months

Certificate/valid documentary proof regarding pay scale (as per Note 3/Note 4)

PwD Certificate with photograph (40% or more permanent disability, as per format prescribed by Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment)

SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/EWS certificate from the Competent Authority (if applicable)

Aadhaar Card

Apprenticeship certificate (NATS/NAPS) if applicable

Important Instructions :

This is a Special Recruitment Drive for SC, ST & OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates only.

Only Full Time Regular courses will be considered (except CA/CMA/CS). The specified qualification should have been acquired within the prescribed minimum course duration.

The cut-off date for qualification, experience, and upper age is 30.04.2026.

A candidate can apply for one position only. Multiple applications will result in the latest being retained; older applications will be rejected without notice.

Applications once submitted cannot be withdrawn. No cancellation/withdrawal requests shall be entertained.

OBC-NCL certificate must be in Central format and valid as on the closing date (25.05.2026). Applications without valid OBC-NCL certificate will be rejected.

Candidates working in PSU/Govt. Sector must forward their application through proper channel or submit NOC from present employer at the time of interview/skill test. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of candidature and no TA shall be paid.

Candidates from PSUs/Govt. Sector must have completed minimum 1 year of service in the immediate lower pay scale as on date of submission of application.

Applicant should essentially have proficiency in computers.

Failure to submit supporting work experience documents will render claim of experience invalid and make the candidate ineligible from further consideration.

PwD candidates — persons with 40% or more permanent nature of disability only are eligible to apply under PwD category.

Furnishing of wrong/false information will be a disqualification and EIL will not be responsible for any consequences thereof.

EIL reserves the right to cancel the advertisement and/or the selection process without assigning any reason.
