JKBOSE, KU postpone exams on Mar 8, 9 No PSC exams today

Schools, colleges open for teachers, not students on Thursday, Friday

The J&K government on Wednesday decided to suspend the class-work in schools and degrees colleges for two days (Thurs­day and Friday) across Kash­mir. However, the teaching staff will have to report to their respective institutions.

The decision has been taken as a ‘precaution­ary measure’ to avoid ‘law and order situation’ in the Valley.

Talking to Greater Kash- mir, education minister Syed Muhammad Altaf Bukhari said the classwork will remain suspended in schools and colleges on Thursday and Friday across Kashmir.

“The teaching staff of schools and colleges will have to report to their respective institutions. There will be no classwork and students don’t have to come to schools or colleges,” he said, adding that the
