J&K Education Minister Rules Out Immediate Online Classes in Jammu & Kashmir

Jammu and Kashmir Education Minister Sakina Itoo on Thursday said the government is not considering any immediate move to shift educational institutions to online mode, clarifying that physical classes across the Union Territory will continue as usual for now.

Speaking to reporters, the Minister dismissed speculation over the possible introduction of virtual classes in the wake of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent appeal for austerity measures and work-from-home practices linked to fuel conservation concerns.
