Who Can Apply for SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2026?
Candidates who meet the required educational qualification and age limit can apply online for SBI Apprentice 2026. Fluency in the local language of the selected state / UT is also mandatory.
Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government as on 08-06-2026.
Local Language: Candidate should be proficient in the specified local language (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) of the state / UT applied for. Candidates with 10th / 12th mark sheet showing the studied local language may be exempted from the language test.
Nationality: Indian citizen as per SBI rules.
Age Limit (as on 08-06-2026)
Minimum Age: 20 Years
Maximum Age: 28 Years (candidate must have been born not earlier than 09-06-1998 and not later than 08-06-2006, both days inclusive).

SC / ST: 5 Years
OBC (Non‑Creamy Layer): 3 Years
PwBD (UR): 10 Years
PwBD (OBC): 13 Years
PwBD (SC / ST): 15 Years
Ex‑Servicemen: As per Govt norms

All Other Candidates: Rs. 300/-
Payment Mode: Online – through debit card / credit card / net banking / UPI.
Selection Process :
The selection for SBI Apprentice 2026 will be based on an Online Written Examination followed by a Test of Local Language and document verification. There is no guarantee of employment after completion of apprenticeship

Mode of Exam: Online Objective Type Test
Total Questions: 100
Total Marks: 100
Duration: 60 Minutes (15 minutes per section)
Negative Marking: 1/4th of the mark assigned to the question for each wrong answer.
Sections :
Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude – 25 Questions, 25 Marks
Quantitative Aptitude – 25 Questions, 25 Marks
General English – 25 Questions, 25 Marks
General / Financial Awareness – 25 Questions, 25 Marks
Stipend :
Apprentice: Rs. 15,000/- per month during the one‑year training period.
No other allowances / benefits (DA, HRA, etc.) are payable; this is a training position and not regular employment.
