A) General Eligibility

i. The candidate must be a domicile of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir or District Rajouri having ST-1 certificate.

ii. Candidate must have passed Class 5th exam from a Government/Government recognized institution for admission in 6th class or reading in 5th class or appearing in exam during Feb–March 2026.

iii. The candidate must belong to the Gujar Bakerwal Community.

iv. The candidate must fulfill the age criteria mentioned above.

v. The candidate should have never been rusticated from any institution.

B) Admission Procedure

i. Admission will be as per merit in the written test and interaction for admission in Class 6th.

ii. Admission secured on the basis of fake documents or wrong information shall be cancelled and no appeal in such cases shall be considered.

iii. In case of any dispute, the decision of the Warden G&B shall be final and binding on the candidates.

C) Reservation

10% seats are reserved for orphan candidates.

D) Other Conditions

The candidate must fall in the category of BPL.

The admission forms will be available at Gujar Bakerwal Girls Hostel Rajouri or through the above-mentioned contact numbers. The complete application form signed by HOI and countersigned by the concerned ZEO may be submitted at Gujar Bakerwal Girls Hostel on working days (during official hours) before the due date. Incomplete forms will be rejected.
