TRAFFIC POLICE ADVISORY FOR EID UL-AZHA FESTIVAL FALLING ON 27.05.2026
Through the medium of this Public Notice, the general public especially commuters of Doda, Kishtwar, Ramban, Udhampur and Reasi are requested to adhere to this traffic advisory in view of ensuring Eid Ul-Azha festival falling on 27.05.2026 and park their vehicles at the below mentioned earmarked parking slots to ensure smooth and hassle-free movement of traffic during the celebration of ibid event especially during Eid-Namaz at following venues around respective district Hqrs.

General public/commuters are further requested to:
Follow Traffic advisory to avoid inconvenience during the celebration of Eid Ul-Azha festival.
Park their vehicles at the ibid designated parking slots only.
Plan their journey in advance to avoid last minute rush and reach destination safely.
Follow lane discipline, avoid wrong parking/lane driving and don’t overtake to avoid traffic congestions.
Avoid overloading to avoid any mishap during the celebration of event.
Cooperate with Traffic Police on duty during the event.
Give way to emergency/referral services and follow traffic diversions wherever required without fail.
Encourage carpooling to avoid unnecessary congestions around the venues of Eid Namaz.
Hawkers and vendors should avoid merchandise on footpaths.
Avoid unnecessary loitering along the roadside to reduce un-necessary congestions.
Any violation of advisory and traffic rules shall invite legal action under relevant provisions of law.
PUBLIC COOPERATION
In view of expected high participation of general public for Namaz-e-Eid, the general public and commuters are requested to extend their full cooperation by abiding to this traffic advisory for smooth and hassle-free conduct of Eid-Ul-Azha festival.
