JK National Highway Traffic Updates for 30th May 2026

From 28-05-2026, 1600 hrs to 29-05-2026, 1600 hrs, slow traffic movement was observed on NH-44 due to single-lane conditions between Marog and Kishtwari Pather, in addition to breakdown of 02 HMVs at Digdol, and movement of nomadic herds (crossing Nachlana–Banihal).

Owing to ongoing movement of nomadic herd, traffic on the single-lane stretch from Marog to Kishtwari Pather is likely to remain slow. Commuters are advised to follow lane discipline and avoid overtaking.

Advisory for Passengers/LMVs

Passengers/LMV operators are advised to prefer journey on Jammu–Srinagar NHW during daytime. Night travel should be avoided due to apprehension of shooting stones/landslides, movement of nomads towards valley, and ongoing construction work between Nashri and Banihal, which may cause inconvenience.
