Govt. ITI Kathua Admission Notice
In pursuance to Directorate of Skill Development J&K’s admission notice issued under endorsement No. DSD/401/Trgs/2026/e-7905971/829-925 dated 26-05-2026, online applications are invited from desirous candidates for admission in Govt. ITI Kathua for the academic session 2026-27.
Admissions are open for various Engineering and Non-Engineering trades of duration two years, one year, and six months under NCVT/SCVT schemes, including free and self-finance/IMC PPP seats. The session will commence from 1st September 2026, and application forms can be uploaded from 30th May 2026.
Eligibility Criteria :Â
Minimum age: 14 years as on 1st September 2026
No upper age limit
For Mechanic Motor Vehicle (MMV) trade: Minimum age is 18 years
Candidates must apply online through the ITI admission portal available on the official website of Directorate of Skill Development J&K : https://www.jkdsd.in

Passport size photograph
Marks certificate of qualifying examination
Date of birth certificate (preferably 10th / 8th class marks card)
Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/Ex-serviceman/PH/EWS), if applicable
Aadhaar Card
Domicile certificate (to be produced at the time of admission)
Application Fee :
Rs. 100/- (one hundred only) per three trades
Fee to be deposited at ITI Kathua against proper cash receipt

Important Instructions :
Candidates must submit a printout of the system-generated application along with self-attested documents at Govt. ITI Kathua.
Fee must be deposited as prescribed with proper receipt.
Selection will be based purely on academic merit in the qualifying examination.
Certificates will be awarded by NCVT/SCVT after successful completion of training.
Candidates who have already completed ITI training can apply again after two years, subject to conditions.
