J&K Finance Department Assigns Additional Charges to Six Officers
The Finance Department of the Government of Jammu and Kashmir has ordered a series of additional charge assignments involving six officers across various departments and districts in the Union Territory.
According to Government Order No. 205-F of 2026 dated June 4, 2026, the assignments have been made in the interest of administration and have come into effect immediately.
As per the order, Nagesh Jamwal, FA/CAO, Cluster University, Jammu, has been assigned the additional charge of Chief Accounts Officer, Directorate of Social Welfare, Jammu, in addition to his own duties, till Reena returns from leave.
Mohd Ashraf Ahanger, CAO, District Fund Office, Kupwara, has been given the additional charge of CP&AO, DUDA, Kupwara, in addition to his existing responsibilities, till further orders.
Gulzar Ahmad, ATO, District Treasury, Anantnag, has been assigned the charge of Treasury Officer, Pahalgam, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
Mohammad Yousuf Najar, AO, District Fund Office, Kulgam, will hold the additional charge of Accounts Officer, Verinag Tourism Development Authority, alongside his existing duties, till further orders.
Mudasir Zaman Drabu, AO, JKPCL, Kashmir, has been entrusted with the additional charge of Accounts Officer, Jammu and Kashmir Forest Development Corporation, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
Abdul Rashid Malik, AO, SSP Office, Baramulla, has been assigned the additional charge of Pay and Accounts Officer, DUDA, Baramulla, in addition to his existing duties, till further orders.
The order was issued by Shailendra Kumar, IAS, Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Finance Department, Government of Jammu and Kashmir.
The Finance Department stated that the arrangements have been made to ensure smooth functioning of administrative and financial operations in the concerned offices until regular arrangements are made or further orders are issued.
