J&K: Admin suspends Machail, Mindhal Mata pilgrimages due to inclement weather in Kishtwar
The Administration on Friday suspended the pilgrimages to Shri Machail Mata and Shri Mindhal Mata for the day in view of adverse weather conditions prevailing across the Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to the advisory issued by the district administration, in view of the adverse weather conditions prevailing across District Kishtwar, including continuous rainfall, slippery road conditions, and the risk of shooting stones, and in the interest of ensuring the safety and well-being of pilgrims, both the Shri Machail Mata Yatra and the Shri Mindhal Mata Yatra shall remain suspended for today.

“Pilgrims are advised not to undertake the yatra today and are requested to remain at their homes or other safe locations until further advisories are issued by the District Administration Kishtwar,” read and advisory.
“This order shall come into force with immediate effect,” it further read.”

“The situation is being closely monitored, and further decisions will be taken depending on weather conditions,” said administration as per the advisory.
