India T20I squads for ENG, IRE series: Shreyas Iyer named captain, Suryakumar Yadav dropped from team
India will first play 2 T20Is against Ireland in Belfast on June 26 and 28, then will move on to the 5-match series against England from July 1 to 11.
India announced its squad for the England and Ireland series on Saturday (June 6) following a Men’s Selection Committee meeting at the BCCI headquarters in Mumbai.
Suryakumar Yadav has been removed as captain, with Shreyas Iyer appointed as the new T20I skipper. Tilak Varma has been named vice-captain of the side.
