District Hospital Ramban Recruitment 2026
Hiring of contractual staff for setting up of Addiction Treatment Facility (ATF) under National Drug Dependence Treatment Centre for District Hospital Ramban.
As approved by the Chairman District Health Society (District Development Commissioner) Ramban vide Order No. DDC/R/Plg/2025-26/714-743 dated 21-04-2026 and directions received from the Vice Chairman District Health Society (Chief Medical Officer) Ramban vide letter No. CMO/Rbn/2026-27/428-30 dated 21-04-2026, applications are invited from eligible candidates who are domiciles of District Ramban for engagement against the following posts at the Addiction Treatment Facility (ATF) in District Hospital Ramban under the National Drug Dependence Treatment Centre (NDDTC), implemented by AIIMS New Delhi.
The engagement is initially for one year (2026-27) and is extendable on a yearly basis subject to satisfactory performance, conduct, and continuation of the centrally sponsored scheme.

1. Medical Officer

Qualification:
MBBS from a recognized institution with Medical Council registration.
Preference will be given to candidates possessing MD or equivalent qualification in Psychiatry.

2. Nurse

Note
Candidates will be called for Viva Voce on the basis of a 1:5 ratio.
Terms and Conditions
The candidate must be a domicile of District Ramban.
The advertisement notice and prescribed application form can be downloaded from the NIC Ramban website and can also be obtained from the Office of the Medical Superintendent, District Hospital Ramban.
Applications in the prescribed format (Annexure-A) must be submitted personally or through an authorized representative in the Office of the Medical Superintendent, District Hospital Ramban on or before 04-07-2026. No application shall be accepted after 4:00 PM on 04-07-2026.
The consolidated monthly honorarium shall be inclusive of all allowances and benefits to be conveyed by NDDTC, New Delhi.
Engagement shall be purely contractual and non-transferable.
The contract shall remain valid for the remaining financial year 2026-27, up to 31 March 2027, or till continuation of the centrally sponsored scheme, whichever is earlier.
The posts are purely contractual and do not confer any right to permanent appointment in the department.
Services may be terminated without notice in case of non-performance, poor performance, or conduct detrimental to public health.
The office shall not be responsible for any inconvenience caused due to misleading or false information available on other websites.
No TA/DA shall be paid for appearing in the interview or written test.
Selected candidates must furnish an affidavit stating that they will not claim continuation, regularization, or absorption in the department against the post beyond the stipulated period.

Applications found incomplete or deficient in any respect shall be rejected without any further notice.
Candidates shall be shortlisted for Viva Voce in the ratio of 1:5.
If the number of applicants is less than five, no screening test shall be conducted.
Applications may be rejected by the Screening Committee if candidates fail to fulfill the prescribed criteria.
All further communications regarding the recruitment process shall be available on the NIC Ramban website and the Notice Board of the Office of the Medical Superintendent, District Hospital Ramban. No individual communication shall be made.
The dates for written test/interview shall be notified separately, subject to any petition pending before a competent court of law.
