🇮🇳 India Issues Fresh Iran Advisory, Urges Citizens to Exit Country
The Indian Embassy in Tehran has issued a fresh advisory for Indian nationals amid escalating tensions in the Middle East.
Indian citizens have been strongly advised to avoid travelling to Iran until further notice, while those currently residing in the country have been urged to leave through available means of transportation as a precautionary measure.

The advisory comes in the wake of renewed instability in the region and growing concerns over the security situation.
The Embassy has asked Indian nationals to remain vigilant and follow official updates closely.
According to official figures, nearly 9,000 Indian nationals, including a large number of students, were present in Iran when the conflict intensified following military strikes on Iranian targets.
Since then, around 1,800 Indians have successfully returned to India, while efforts continue to ensure the safety of those still in the country.

The Government of India and the Embassy in Tehran remain in constant touch with Indian citizens in Iran and have advised them to stay alert, maintain contact with embassy officials, and make travel arrangements at the earliest possible opportunity.
