SKIMS Approves One-Year Stipendiary Engagement
Engagement as Stipendiary Junior Resident
On the basis of merit obtained in the written examination and the current departmental requirements, sanction is hereby accorded to the engagement of doctors figuring in Annexure-A as Junior Residents at this Institute.
The tenure engagement of Junior Residency shall be governed by the following terms and conditions:

Terms & Conditions :
The engagement is initially for a period of 06 months as a Stipendiary Junior Resident.
The engagement shall not confer any right upon the engagee to claim continuation or extension beyond the mentioned term and shall be deemed to be automatically relieved upon expiry of the stipulated period.
The Junior Resident shall abide by all rules, regulations and instructions issued by the Institute from time to time.
In case an adverse report regarding character and antecedents is received from CID Headquarters, J&K, the engagement shall be deemed cancelled ab-initio.
If verification and genuineness of qualification certificates from the concerned issuing authority are found fake/forged, the engagement shall be cancelled ab-initio and legal action shall be initiated as per rules.
Salary of the engagee shall not be drawn and disbursed unless satisfactory verification reports regarding character, antecedents and qualification certificates are received.
The first month’s salary of the engagee shall be kept as a security deposit and shall be released only after completion of the tenure.
If the doctor leaves the tenure prematurely, the security deposit shall be dealt with as per Institute rules.
