Pursuant to Notification No. 081-BOPEE of 2026 Dated 11-06-2026, the Board notified the 2nd round of online counselling schedule for submission of online preferences/choices w. e. f 12-06-2026 (11:30 A.M. onwards) to 15-06-2026 (Midnight) for filling up seats of B.E./B.Tech. Courses-2026.
The list of candidates provisionally allotted seats in Government/Private Colleges/Institutions of the UT of J&K, is hereby notified as per Annexure-A to this notification, which shall only be available on the official website of the Board, viz. www.jkbopee.gov.in.
Any candidate desirous of making any representation against the position assigned to him/her in the Provisional Selection List may, if so chooses, do so up to 21-06-2026 (5:00 P.M.) with documentary evidence in support of his/her claim and send the representation/documents to [email protected]. If a genuine representation is received, a separate notice/notification will be issued for the issuance of the Revised Selection List

If no further notice/notification is issued, Annexure A will be deemed final, and provisionally selected candidates should report to their assigned colleges/institutions w.e.f. 22-06-2026 to 25-06-2026 (up to 05:00 P.M.) along with their relevant certificates in original The Provisionally Selected candidates are advised to generate the Provisional Allotment Letter on the J&K BOPEE portal using his/her own credentials. Thereafter, they must report to their respective allotted Colleges/Institutions for completion of admission formalities up to 25 th of June 2026, till 05.00 P.M., along with the following documents in original:
I. Domicile certificate of UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh, as the case may be (For Candidates of UT of Ladakh, ST certificate issued by the Competent Authority of Ladakh shall be treated as Domicile Certificate),
II. Qualifying marks (12th class) certificate;
III. Date of birth Certificate (Matriculation/Secondary School Certificate) from a recognized Board; and
IV. Reserved category certificate, if any,
V. Any other documents, as may be required by the college concerned
The eligibility conditions for admission to this course shall be as mentioned in the Notification No. 044-BOPEE of 2026 dated 18-03-2026/e-Information Brochure available on the J&K BOPEE website.
It is hereby implored upon the management of all the concerned Colleges/ Institutions to ensure the veracity of documents, particularly the Category Certificates, wherever the admission is to be granted in lieu of a Reserved Category.
To complete the admission process within the prescribed cut-off date, 25-06-2026, till 5:00 P.M., the concerned Colleges/Institutions shall keep their admission counters open even on holidays/off days to facilitate candidates in completing their admission process well in time.
However, candidates in their own interest shall avoid waiting for the last day to complete admission formalities through the online admission portal since delay has the potential of causing hardships to the candidates only.
The Heads of the concerned Colleges/Institutions are advised to furnish the shortfall, if any, to the Board only through the JK BOPEE admission portal on 25-06-2026, up to 05:30 P.M
Note :
I. The admission of the candidates is purely provisional and liable to be cancelled in case any information furnished by any candidate proves to be false/fabricated, and action as warranted under the rules shall be initiated against such candidates.
II. The allotment of seats (discipline/institution) in respect of reserved category candidates have been made in accordance with the provisions of S.O. 176 of 2024 dated 15-03-2024, read with S.O. 305 dated 21-05-2024.
III. The Concerned Colleges/Institutions shall ensure that, in case a person with disability is selected in open merit or some reserved category, the college/ institution concerned shall refer such case(s) to the Medical College concerned for the constitution of a special Medical Board to assess such candidates and make recommendations based on which colleges shall take further necessary action.
In case any such candidate does not fulfil the benchmarks of disability, he/she shall not be admitted to the course/ college, and the matter shall be reported to the J&K BOPEE.
IV. The candidate, who has been allotted a seat, has to download the Provisional Allotment Letter and physically report with original documents at the allotted Institution for completing admission formalities within the period as notified by the Board. The institution shall issue the joining certificate to such candidates. The candidates are advised to verify their joining status on the portal.
V. If a seat has been allotted to a candidate and he/she does not join the Institution within the stipulated period as notified by the Board, i.e. 25-06-2026 (5:00 P.M.), his/her allotted seat shall be treated as cancelled, and his/her claim on the allotted seat shall cease.
VI. If a candidate, after getting admission in an Institution, intends to cancel his/her admission from the Institution, he/she can do so by submitting an admission cancellation application by or before the last date fixed for reporting/joining by the BOPEE. The institutions shall upload the admission cancellation application on the admission portal and shall cancel his/her admission. The candidate can verify his/her admission cancellation status on the portal. The allotted seat will be treated as cancelled.

VII. If any candidate fails to join the allotted College/Institution within the stipulated period as notified by the Board, his/her claim on the seat shall cease.
