Advertisement for Recruitment Under Phase-VI of Sanginis (Anganwadi Workers) and Sahayikas (Anganwadi Helpers) in Anganwadi Centres of Poshan Project Budhal
Applications are invited on prescribed format (Annexure “A”) from the eligible candidates for engagement as Sanginis (Anganwadi Workers) and Sahayikas (Anganwadi Helpers) on honorary basis for the below mentioned vacant posts of Anganwadi Centres of Poshan Project Budhal.

Approval of vacancies: The above vacancies have been received vide Mission Director, Mission Poshan J&K Letter No. MD/Poshan/22290-98 dated 18-06-2026 and No. MD/Poshan/38410-13 dated 23-06-2026 for filling up of 01 post of Anganwadi Worker and 05 posts of Anganwadi Helpers in Anganwadi Centres of Poshan Project Budhal.

Eligibility Criteria
I. Anganwadi Workers (Sanginis)
The candidate must be a domicile of the UT of J&K.
Women candidates in the age group of 18-37 years as on 01-01-2026 shall be eligible.
The candidate should be a resident of the electoral ward (Panch Ward) where the Anganwadi Centre is situated.
Name in the valid voter list of the ward shall be considered as the only proof of residence of the candidate.
No application form shall be entertained without a valid ward (Panchayat) voter list.
If the candidate appears in the voter list along with her parents, she must provide a certificate of being unmarried issued by the concerned Tehsildar.
Minimum qualification for Anganwadi Worker shall be 10+2 and maximum graduation.
In case no 10+2 pass candidate is available in the ward, 10+2 pass candidate from the adjoining ward shall be considered.
Such cases shall require prior approval of Mission Director, Mission Poshan.
In case a suitable candidate is not available from the adjoining Panch ward, candidates from the nearest ward within the Panchayat/MC can be considered with prior approval of Mission Director, Mission Poshan J&K.
Weightage shall be given on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2 and selection shall be done purely on merit basis.
In case of a tie in merit, the candidate with higher age will be preferred.
Candidates with qualification higher than graduation shall not be considered.
In case an eligible candidate is available within the family of retiring AWWs/AWHs, the said candidate shall qualify for additional two percent points.
II. Anganwadi Helpers (Sahayikas)
The candidate must be a domicile of the UT of J&K.
Women candidates in the age group of 18-37 years as on 01-01-2026 shall be eligible.
The candidate should be a resident of the electoral ward (Panch Ward) where the Anganwadi Centre is situated.
Name in the valid voter list of the ward shall be considered as the only proof of residence.
No application form shall be entertained without a valid ward (Panchayat) voter list.
If the candidate appears in the voter list along with her parents, she must provide a certificate of being unmarried issued by the concerned Tehsildar.
Minimum qualification for Anganwadi Helper shall be Matriculation.
In case no matriculate candidate is available in the Panch ward, candidates with qualification not less than 8th standard shall be considered.
Weightage shall be given on the basis of marks obtained in 10th and selection shall be done purely on merit basis among women candidates.
In case no married candidate is available, unmarried candidates may be considered.
